WELCOME
Preschool & Lower Elementary grades (K-2)
Intelligent Preschool starts at 2.5 years old. We uniquely offer mixed ages to allow older preschoolers to learn about helping, and for younger students to learn from older peers.
Learning starts early and socialization abounds! Upon preschool graduation, students are well prepared to enter Kindergarten with confidence, having strong academic abilities and a solid foundation for building relationships.
We use a Structure and Play teaching methodology. Micro sessions of play interspersed between each session of learning throughout the school day.
We offer actual small class sizes in grades K-2 to allow individualized instruction. Students can learn at their own ability and reach their maximum potential. Our goal is to create a love of learning that will last a lifetime and provide a solid academic foundation for the rest of their learning journey.
Students must turn age 5 by December 31
to enroll Kindergarten
We have over 8,000 sf of indoor space for kids to explore and play. Homework can be done sitting along side peers in the library. An after school snack helps fuel their brain and energize their bodies for after school play.
This is a time for kids to build on their emerging social skills, using their imagination with friends, and participating in structured and unstructured play or simply enjoying quite time with friends instead of sitting at home on a screen.
Full-time and part-time summer camp. Come for the whole day or half day mornings.
Ages 3 to 11 years old.
No contracts. No minimum attendance.
We create weekly themed activities.
Swimming is included (days and times reserved by Ridgewood Pool).
Screen time is reserved for the end of the day because good old fashioned fun develops a child's imagination and instills a love for fun with others.

Sharon was a busy mom and no one would keep her "very active" child. So, she started an activity center inside the 12th Street Gym and called it “Kids on 12th.”
The mission grew over the years, adding a flexible schedule Preschool, After School and Summer Camp.
Today, with her partner, Dr. Rich Parenti, a Micro-Elementary School was added to allow school age students to further develop a love a learning. This licensed private academic school provides an unparalleled educational experience for children in grades Kindergarten to 2nd grade.
KO12 Kids School strives to meet the needs of working families which is why "School Year Camp" is also available when most schools and other programs are closed, (e.g. snow days, holidays, and school breaks).
KO12 is been recommended by moms in Philadelphia since 2007. Follow "Kids On 12th" on Facebook.
